COURSE OBJECTIVES:
1. Students will demonstrate their conceptual understanding of the use of technology in a global education.
2. Students will demonstrate methods of utilizing and promoting digital tools for collaboration and
communication with students, parents, peers, and community members and the effective use of digital
tools and resources.
3. Students will demonstrate an understanding of safe, ethical, legal, and moral practices related to digital
information and technology.
4. Students will demonstrate methods of facilitating access to digital-age resources which promote crosscultural
awareness.
5. Students will demonstrate the ability to evaluate, adapt, and reflect on emerging tools and trends by
participating in local and global learning communities and reviewing current research and professional
literature.
6. Students will demonstrate a knowledge of new media literacy and ways to best equip young people to
succeed in a global interconnected, multicultural world.
